We were recently appointed by one of the UK’s biggest printing factories to design and build a bespoke sub floor area, to very precise dimensions. Due to the nature of the equipment being installed the sub floor had to be millimetre perfect to enable optimal operation of this very specialised piece of equipment. The area was specifically to accommodate a strategic part of the new printing process equipment.
The intrusive works included concrete cutting, always a messy job! So it had to be managed without impacting the rest of the existing printing process which is highly susceptible to airborne particles and dust.
To overcome this, an extraction tent was erected, shielding the rest of the facility from the dust that would be created. Our expert team ensured the works were undertaken with no disruption to the rest of the factory.
The specialist concrete work project was completed on time and within budget, something we pride ourselves on at ICE BT!
